Your ride from Nijkerk
Nijkerk is an old trading town on the Nijkerkernauw, with a historic centre around the Grote Kerk and a harbour connected to the rim lake via the Arkervaart. The municipality also includes Nijkerkerveen and Hoevelaken, which lies right against Amersfoort.
To the airport the route measures 70 kilometres; outside rush hour you come out at about 62 minutes. The rate is known in advance and doesn't change along the way: €120 in Comfort, €150 in Premium, €155 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €265 in VIP.
VAT, cases and the parking at Schiphol are processed in it and no surcharge applies for night or public-holiday rides. You reserve at least 1 hour ahead, with direct payment at booking.
From the Amersfoortseweg or the Oosterdorpsstraat the Nijkerk exit on the A28 is reached in a few minutes. The motorway leads south past Hoevelaken to the interchange of the same name, where the ride continues on the A1 towards Amsterdam.
Amersfoort stays on the left; then the car passes Baarn, the Eemnes interchange, Naarden and Muiden to the Diemen interchange. There the A9 is chosen, with the Gaasperdammertunnel and Amstelveen, until the Badhoevedorp interchange gives the A4 and the turn to the terminal.
Outside rush hour that stretch of 70 kilometres takes about 62 minutes. The first bottleneck comes soon: the A28 towards Hoevelaken fills in the morning with traffic to Amersfoort and Utrecht, and further on the familiar congestion at Muiden follows.
Then the travel time rises to some 80 minutes. Via Bunschoten and Baarn there's also a rural alternative towards the A1.
Pick-up in Nijkerk
You're picked up in the town centre, in Corlaer, Paasbos, Watergoor and De Terrassen, and in the new-build of Doornsteeg. Nijkerkerveen and Hoevelaken belong to the area too, as do the businesses around the Arkervaart.
Nijkerk station lies on the Amersfoort-Zwolle line; to the airport that means changing in Amersfoort or Utrecht, with luggage across the platforms. For an early departure or a family with cases the car at the door is easier.
Note the address with house number at booking, so the driver is at the right entrance straight away.

Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Nijkerk
Back at the airport the meeting point in the arrivals hall of Schiphol Plaza is the meeting spot. Because the flight is watched, the driver is there even if the aircraft comes in an hour later. 60 minutes of free waiting time applies from the moment of landing.
The way back to the rim lake takes about 62 minutes outside rush hour.

Top chauffeur, uitstekende rit!
Vriendelijke gast, rijdt fantastisch.
Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions
What do I pay for Nijkerk to Schiphol?+
The amount is fixed in advance: €120 for Comfort, €150 for Premium, €155 for the Van with five to eight seats and €265 for VIP, each time including VAT, luggage and parking charges.
Is Hoevelaken served too?+
Yes, Hoevelaken and Nijkerkerveen fall under the same municipality and belong to the pick-up area. The rate depends on the given pick-up address, so fill it in fully at booking.
Is the train from the station faster?+
Rarely. You change in Amersfoort or Utrecht and lug the luggage along; for an early flight hardly any trains run either. Driving straight through from your own address is then more practical.
Can I book one large car for a party?+
Yes, the Van has room for five to eight passengers with cases and costs €155 from Nijkerk. For a group that works out better than having two separate cars pull up.
Is there an extra amount for lots of luggage?+
No, luggage never costs extra. Cases, hand baggage and for example a pushchair belong to the fixed price; do give at booking how many items come along, so the right car comes.
How much do I pay per person?+
Nothing extra: the fixed price is per ride, not per person. Whether you travel alone or with four people in a Comfort, the amount stays the same.
Can I book a return trip in one go?+
Yes, you arrange your outbound and return ride in one booking with the return option in the booking flow. For the return your driver tracks your flight and 60 minutes of free waiting time apply.
Do I get an invoice with VAT for my ride?+
Yes. Book in your company's name and you receive an invoice with a VAT specification — useful for your records or expense claim.
