Certain of your fare

Without a reservation, a street taxi may charge up to about 290 for this ride (±79 km, ±68 min) under the Dutch legal maximum meter rates for 2026. With us the price is fixed at 130 (Comfort) before you book — 55% below that legal maximum.*

And no surge pricing like ride-hailing apps: your fare doesn't rise with rain, rush hour or an early-morning flight — and traffic jams or detours don't change it either. The amount you see when booking from Putten is the amount on your receipt.

  • No night surcharge
  • No weekend or holiday surcharge
  • No rush-hour surcharge
  • No luggage fee
  • No booking or payment fees

Never settle up in the taxi — no cash, no card terminal stress. Business trip? An invoice with VAT is available too.

* Comparison with the Dutch legal maximum taxi tariffs 2026 (passenger car: €4,31 start + €3,17/km + €0,52/min, wetten.overheid.nl), calculated over the usual off-peak travel time. Street taxis may charge less than the maximum; actual savings vary per ride. Full calculation per city.

Your ride from Putten

Putten lies on the western edge of the Veluwe, between the woods at Krachtighuizen and the meadows of the Arkemheense polder, with the Oude Kerkplein and the resistance monument as fixed points of reference. From here it's 79 kilometres' drive to the airport, about 68 minutes outside rush hour.

The rate is fixed before departure: Comfort €130, Premium €165, the Van seating five to eight €170 and VIP €290. Those amounts suit such a distance and they're complete — VAT, luggage and the parking at Schiphol are in them, and no night or public-holiday surcharge is added.

You book at least 1 hour ahead and pay directly online, so before the driver comes onto the yard you know exactly where you stand.

From the village you drive via the Nijkerkerstraat or the Voorthuizerstraat to the on- and off-ramp of the A28, which runs right past Putten. From there it goes south towards Amersfoort, where at the Hoevelaken interchange the A1 is taken towards Amsterdam.

That motorway runs past Baarn, Eemnes and Naarden, over the Muiderberg interchange to Diemen, after which the A9 leads through the Gaasperdammertunnel to Badhoevedorp and the A4 handles the last stretch. Without hold-up those 79 kilometres take about 68 minutes.

Two bottlenecks make the difference: the A28 between Nijkerk and Amersfoort and the Muiden–Diemen stretch, where the morning traffic bunches. In the peak the journey rises to some 89 minutes, and that's allowed for when setting your pick-up time.

If the A1 is at a standstill after an accident, there's the option to take the A6 via Nijkerk and Almere.

Pick-up in Putten

Pick-up addresses are spread throughout the municipality: in the new-build of Bijsteren and Husselerveld, in the hamlets of Diermen, Huinen and Halvinkhuizen, and at the holiday parks and campsites around Krachtighuizen.

The Keizerswoert business estate and the area around Hoge Eng fall within the zone too, which is convenient if the trip starts straight from work. Putten station lies on the Amersfoort–Zwolle line, but towards the airport that always means changing in Amersfoort or Utrecht — with cases and an early departure, boarding at your own front door is easier.

Areas served: Bijsteren · Husselerveld · Halvinkhuizen · Diermen · Huinen · Krachtighuizen — stations: Putten

Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Putten

For the homeward trip the driver keeps track of the flight details and only leaves once the aircraft has actually landed. The meeting spot is the meeting point in the arrivals hall at Schiphol Plaza. Between landing and boarding there are 60 minutes of free waiting time, ample for passport control and the baggage belt.

Then the ride to the Veluwe takes about 68 minutes outside the busy hours.

Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions

How much does a ride Putten to Schiphol cost?+

For Comfort you pay €130, for Premium €165, for the Van seating five to eight €170 and for VIP €290. It's one total amount including VAT, cases and the parking charges at the airport, whatever the time of departure.

Do I have to leave in the middle of the night for a 06:30 flight?+

Early, yes, but not unreasonably: with about 68 minutes' driving time plus two hours for check-in you come out at a pick-up around a quarter past three. At that hour the A28 is empty and the rate is exactly the same as an afternoon ride, as there's no night surcharge.

Can I take the train from Putten station?+

You can, but never directly: you change on the way in Amersfoort or Utrecht and are soon a good ninety minutes on the way with luggage. A taxi drives in one go from the front door to the departure hall, even when no trains are yet running.

My flight is scrapped — do I get money back?+

Report it at least 4 hours before the agreed pick-up time. The ride is then rebooked free of charge to another date or time, or you receive 50% of the amount paid back. Whoever reports only after that can unfortunately no longer use the scheme.

Do eight people with luggage fit in one car?+

For parties of up to eight there's the Van, a Mercedes V-Class or comparable model with ample luggage space. From Putten it costs €170 as a fixed total price, so you needn't drive to the airport in two cars one behind the other.

Do you also drive on public holidays and New Year's Eve?+

Yes — 24/7, all year round, including New Year's Eve, with no surcharge.

What if I miss my flight or my flight gets cancelled?+

Let us know at least 4 hours before your scheduled pickup on 085 060 2543. We then move your ride to a new time free of charge, or you cancel with a 50% refund. If you tell us later than 4 hours ahead, or we can't reach you, the ride counts as a no-show without a refund.

Can I get a child seat for the ride to Schiphol?+

Yes. When booking, mention that you need a child seat or booster and for which age — your driver will have the right seat ready.
