The A1 runs right past Barneveld, so the ride gets going quickly: via the Baron van Nagellstraat or the Stationsweg you reach exit 16, and from Voorthuizen exit 17 is ready. Westbound it goes past Terschuur and Hoevelaken, where at the interchange of the same name the traffic from the A28 joins — immediately the most sensitive point of the whole ride.
Then follows a long straight stretch past Amersfoort, Baarn and Naarden, over the Muiderberg interchange to Diemen, where the A9 bends through the Gaasperdammertunnel towards Badhoevedorp and the A4 handles the last kilometres.

The De Harselaar business estate belongs to it just as much as the holiday parks on the Veluwe towards Stroe and Garderen. Barneveld has three halts on the Valleilijn — Centrum, Noord and Zuid — but travelling to the airport means changing in Amersfoort or Amsterdam.
With luggage or a departure time before sunrise, a car at the door is simply more practical.

Am I picked up in Voorthuizen or Garderen too?+

Isn't the Valleilijn an easier option?+
The train brings you to Amersfoort, where you have to change before you can continue towards the airport. Early in the morning that service still runs limited, and with cases the changing costs time you'd rather not have with a flight.
Can I come along with eight people and lots of luggage?+
For larger parties the Van is suitable: five to eight seats in a Mercedes V-Class or comparable model, with a spacious boot. From Barneveld it costs €170 as a fixed total price, however many cases have to come along.
