Your ride from Hoevelaken
Hoevelaken lies on the edge of the Gelderse Vallei, just east of Amersfoort, known for the traffic interchange of the same name where the A1 and A28 cross. The ride from the Veluwe edge to the airport spans 62 kilometres, about three quarters of an hour outside rush hour.
The price from de Hoef you know in advance and it's fixed at €110 in Comfort, €140 in Premium, €145 in the Van and €200 in VIP; VAT, luggage and parking are in it. Whether you leave at night or in the afternoon by Nijkerkerveen: the amount stays the same, because there's no night surcharge.
Up to an hour before the pick-up time by the Veluwe edge you can book; you settle directly online and the amount is thereby fixed.
From Hoevelaken the ascent to the motorway is short: via the Westerdorpsstraat and the Hoevelaken interchange you're quickly on the A1 heading west. From there it goes past Amersfoort and Bunschoten, over the Eemnes interchange and past Naarden and Muiden, after which at the Diemen interchange the A9 is picked up towards Amstelveen and the Badhoevedorp interchange, with the A4 and the Schiphol exit as endpoint.
The ride is a good 60 kilometres; the sensitive stretch is between Muiden and Diemen, where the morning traffic towards Amsterdam converges, and on the A1 around Amersfoort. Outside rush hour you reckon on about an hour.
If the A1 is jammed, the driver can divert via the A28 and the A27.
Pick-up in Hoevelaken
Pick-up is possible throughout Hoevelaken and neighbouring Nijkerkerveen: around the village heart, on the De Kruishoef and de Hoef quarters, and along the ribbons towards Terschuur and Nijkerk. Addresses on the business estate by the interchange fall within the area too.

For a ride from the Veluwe edge the price is fixed at €110 (Comfort), €140 (Premium), €145 (Van) and €200 (VIP); VAT and parking charges are processed, no surprise on arrival.
Why a taxi and not public transport?+
The bus journey from Nijkerkerveen runs via Amersfoort and costs a fair bit of time with a change; driving directly is with luggage almost always handier.
When does the driver pick me up at the Veluwe edge?+
Plan from de Hoef about three quarters of an hour for the ride and a good two hours for the handling at the airport; if your departure falls in the peak, the pick-up time moves forward a bit.
Best choice for a group?+
Then choose the Van, a Mercedes V-Class with room for five to eight passengers plus cases; from the area of the Veluwe edge it costs €145 as a fixed total amount, better than two separate cars.
How does cancelling from de Hoef work?+
With a report at least 4 hours before the pick-up time we move your ride from Nijkerkerveen without cost, or you get half back; giving it later can no longer be done free.
What if I miss my flight or my flight gets cancelled?+
Let us know at least 4 hours before your scheduled pickup on 085 060 2543. We then move your ride to a new time free of charge, or you cancel with a 50% refund. If you tell us later than 4 hours ahead, or we can't reach you, the ride counts as a no-show without a refund.
Can I get a child seat for the ride to Schiphol?+
Yes. When booking, mention that you need a child seat or booster and for which age — your driver will have the right seat ready.
Can I pay with iDEAL or credit card?+
