Blaricum sits a stone's throw from the Eemnes interchange, where the A27 and the A1 meet. From the old village or Bijvanck your driver takes the Meentweg or the Huizerweg onto the A27; from the Blaricummermeent you're there even quicker.
On the A1 it then heads west past Naarden and Muiden to Diemen, after which the A9 via Amstelveen and the Badhoevedorp interchange connects to the A4 with the Schiphol exit. Outside rush hour the 45-kilometre ride takes about 43 minutes.
The stretch of A1 towards Amsterdam is most sensitive in the morning peak; together with congestion around Amstelveen the journey can then rise towards 62 minutes. If the A1 is jammed at Muiderberg by an accident, the driver can divert via the A27 and the A6 past Almere and rejoin further on.
For early flights the pick-up time is deliberately planned generously.
Pick-up in Blaricum
Pick-up is possible throughout the village: in Blaricum-Dorp with its farmhouses and artists' homes, in Bijvanck on the Huizen side, in De Kampen and in the Blaricummermeent including the business park there. In the narrow, winding streets of the old core a car can't always stop just anywhere; the driver then agrees a spot close by with you.
