Your ride from Zeewolde
Zeewolde is the youngest municipality in the Netherlands: only independent since 1984, built on the bed of the former Zuiderzee and surrounded by the Horsterwold and the water of the Wolderwijd. The spaciously laid-out quarters and the harbour district make it a typical polder town with many commuters.
Zeewolde to Schiphol is 64 kilometres, a ride of about 58 minutes outside rush hour. The price is fixed in advance: €110 in Comfort, €140 in Premium, €145 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €245 for VIP. VAT, luggage and the parking charges at Schiphol are already in it and surcharges don't exist, not even at night or on public holidays.
Book at least one hour ahead and settle directly online, then the ride is fully arranged.
From Zeewolde the ride begins on the Gooiseweg, the N305, which runs straight across the polder towards Almere. At Almere your driver takes the A6 westbound, over the Hollandse Brug to the Muiderberg interchange, where the A1 towards Amsterdam begins.
Via the Diemen interchange it continues over the A9, through the Gaasperdammertunnel and past Amstelveen to the Badhoevedorp interchange, after which the A4 comes out at the Schiphol exit. Sixty-four kilometres, about 58 minutes outside rush hour.
In the morning peak the A1 between Muiderberg and Diemen is the biggest bottleneck, with the congestion on the A9 at Amstelveen behind it; the Gooiseweg itself also fills with commuter traffic towards Almere. The journey can then rise towards 84 minutes, so for an early flight the pick-up time is planned well before the peak.
Pick-up in Zeewolde
You're picked up throughout the town: in the Centrum by the Kerkplein, in Horsterveld on the north-west side, in the Polderwijk with the harbour district and the Eilandenbuurt, and in Zeewolde-Noord and Zeewolde-Zuid.
Business addresses on Trekkersveld, Krachtenveld or Gildenveld and a holiday address by the marina or the Erkemederstrand belong to it too. Zeewolde has no train station: by public transport it always means the bus to Almere or Harderwijk first.
A car at the door spares the most time at this distance.

Vriendelijke gast, rijdt fantastisch.
Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions
What does the taxi ride Zeewolde to Schiphol cost?+
In Comfort you pay €110, in Premium €140; the Van seating five to eight is €145 and VIP €245. These are fixed total prices including VAT, luggage and the parking at Schiphol, whatever the day or time.
Is there public transport from Zeewolde to the airport?+
Zeewolde has no station, so you first travel by bus to Almere or Harderwijk and then change once or twice more. With luggage that quickly costs two hours, against about 58 minutes by taxi.
What time am I picked up for a 09:00 flight?+
Reckon two hours for check-in plus 58 minutes' driving time, so a pick-up around 06:00. Because that ride falls straight through the morning peak on the A1, it's planned a little more generously in practice.
We depart with eight people, is there a large car?+
Yes, the Van with five to eight seats costs €145 from Zeewolde as a fixed total price, including luggage. For a group that's considerably cheaper than booking two separate cars to Schiphol.
What if the trip doesn't go ahead?+
Report your cancellation at least four hours before the pick-up time, and Schipholride rebooks the ride free of charge to another date or you receive 50 percent of the amount paid back.
How far in advance do I need to book my Schiphol taxi?+
You can book online up to 1 hour before pickup, day and night; only between 02:00 and 09:00 you can't book a ride departing that same morning. If online booking is no longer available, just call 085 060 2543 and we'll see what's possible. Booking earlier is always wise — especially in holiday periods.
Can my dog or pet come along?+
By arrangement — mention it when booking and we'll take it into account.
Can I bring a wheelchair or walker?+
Yes — your wheelchair or walker travels free of charge. If it's too big for the boot, mention it when booking so a suitable vehicle can be scheduled. On request we can also arrange a wheelchair-accessible taxi.
