From Lisse the driver usually heads out on the N208 and joins the N207. You cross the Ringvaart over the Elsbroekerbrug, cut straight across the Haarlemmermeer polder and reach the A4 at the Nieuw-Vennep junction.
A short final stretch of motorway brings you to the airport. With only one motorway section involved, the run holds steady at around 25 minutes when traffic is light. During the peaks, roughly 7:00 to 9:30 and 16:00 to 18:30, queues build on the N207 by the Ringvaart and on the A4 near the De Hoek interchange.
That stretches the journey to around 35 minutes. The trickiest period is the Keukenhof season, from mid-March to mid-May. On sunny days and at weekends the flower fields draw crowds, and the N208 and N207 around Lisse fill up.

How early should I leave Lisse for an 08:00 flight?+
Allow around 25 minutes of driving plus a good two hours for check-in and security. For an 08:00 departure, a pick-up around 05:30 leaves comfortable margin. There is no night surcharge, so that early start still costs the same fixed all-in price from €40.
Will the Keukenhof crowds slow down my trip to Schiphol?+
From mid-March to mid-May the N208 and N207 around Lisse can get busy, especially at weekends and on sunny days when visitors flock to Keukenhof and the bulb fields. The driver knows the local back routes and allows extra time. Your fixed price does not change, even if the journey runs a little longer.
Why book a Schiphol taxi when there is also a train from Lisse?+
There is no direct one. Lisse has no railway station, so you would first take a bus to Sassenheim or Hillegom and then change to a train. With plenty of luggage, an early flight or the whole family along, a door-to-door taxi is usually far more practical — Schiphol is only 21 kilometres away.
