Your route and departure time
From the village you are on the N206 or straight onto the A44 towards the airport in moments, reaching the terminal via exit 3 or 4. Because Rijnsburg sits hard by the A44 junction, the ride stays short and simple: in light traffic, those 31 kilometres take some 31 minutes.
Hold-ups concentrate on the A44 around Leiden and at the changeover to the A4; in the morning crush the travel time can climb to about 45 minutes. Should the A44 seize up, the driver escapes via the A4 at Leiderdorp.
With the village lying between the bulb fields and the Oude Rijn, the first kilometre to the motorway nearly always passes the nurseries. The pick-up time carries rush-hour margin, so pressure on the A44 never gets between you and check-in.
