From Assen the route first follows the A28 south, past Hoogeveen, Meppel and Zwolle. Beyond Zwolle the same motorway continues along Nunspeet, Harderwijk and Amersfoort, until the driver turns towards Amsterdam at the Hoevelaken interchange or via the A1 and reaches the A4 to the terminal through the A10 ring or the Diemen interchange.

The Comfort price is €280, with VAT, luggage and airport parking already inside it. For more room or luxury, Premium is €350, the eight-seat Van €365 and VIP €595. Despite the 193 kilometres, the sum is agreed beforehand; traffic jams or a night-time ride subtract nothing from that certainty.
How much time does the trip from Assen to Schiphol take?+
Allow around 157 minutes for the 193 kilometres on clear roads. In the rush hour that heads towards 204 minutes, mainly because of the A28 near Amersfoort. The driver deliberately schedules early flights ahead of the morning crush so you check in with plenty of margin.
Is the taxi more convenient than the train from Assen?+
The train from Assen station runs to Schiphol with a change at Zwolle and easily takes two to two and a half hours.
