Certain of your fare
Without a reservation, a street taxi may charge up to about €164 for this ride (±43 km, ±44 min) under the Dutch legal maximum meter rates for 2026. With us the price is fixed at €80 (Comfort) before you book — 51% below that legal maximum.*
And no surge pricing like ride-hailing apps: your fare doesn't rise with rain, rush hour or an early-morning flight — and traffic jams or detours don't change it either. The amount you see when booking from Volendam is the amount on your receipt.

Your ride from Volendam
Volendam is the fishing village on the Markermeer that everyone knows from the Dijk, the wooden houses, the eel smokehouses and the photo studios where visitors pose in traditional costume. Behind that tourist front lies a village of over twenty thousand residents who simply have to set off early for a flight.
From the Dijk it's 43 kilometres to the airport, about 44 minutes outside rush hour. The total price is fixed in advance: €80 in Comfort, €100 in Premium, €105 for the Van (5-8 people) and €185 for VIP, including VAT, luggage and the parking at Schiphol.
There is no night surcharge, and luggage is never charged separately. You book at least 1 hour ahead and pay directly online, so there's nothing left to settle with the driver.
The first kilometres head inland: from the Dijk or the Julianaweg your driver takes the Zeddeweg to the N247, the through road cutting across Waterland. It runs southbound past Katwoude and Monnickendam, through Broek in Waterland, until the A10 ring begins at Het Schouw.
Via the Coentunnel and the A10-West it continues to the De Nieuwe Meer interchange and then onto the A4 straight to the Schiphol exit. Outside rush hour that 43-kilometre route takes about 44 minutes. Two things can spoil it: the single-lane N247 towards Amsterdam-Noord in the morning peak, which can stretch the ride to 64 minutes, and in high season the tourist traffic around the harbour front and the coach parking.
If the N247 is closed by works or an accident, your driver takes the wider loop via the N244 and the A7 past Purmerend and Zaandam.
Pick-up in Volendam
From the Oude Kom with its Doolhof maze of lanes to the new-build of the Broeckgouw: you can be picked up anywhere in Volendam, as well as in the Blokgouw, the Bloemenbuurt and Katham. In the narrow alleys behind the Dijk a car can't always reach the door; note your exact address when booking and the driver will agree a logical boarding point at the head of the street or the nearest parking spot.
There's no train station, so with public transport every journey starts with the bus towards Amsterdam or Purmerend. Volendam belongs to the Edam-Volendam municipality; addresses just outside the built-up area can be given too.
Areas served: Oude Kom (het Doolhof) · Broeckgouw · Blokgouw · Katham · Bloemenbuurt
Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Volendam
Back at Schiphol you walk to the meeting point in the arrivals hall of Schiphol Plaza, where your driver is waiting. He keeps an eye on your flight and shifts the pick-up moment if you land later or earlier; then 60 minutes of free waiting time applies.
If your flight is scrapped altogether, report it at least 4 hours ahead: the ride is rebooked free of charge or you get 50% back. Within about 44 minutes you're back on the Dijk.

Vriendelijke gast, rijdt fantastisch.
Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions
What's the taxi price Volendam to Schiphol?+
Comfort is €80 and Premium €100; the Van for five to eight people is €105, and VIP comes to €185. These are fixed total amounts with VAT, luggage and the parking charges at Schiphol already included, even if you depart in the middle of the night.
How do I reach Schiphol from Volendam without a car?+
By public transport you first take the bus to Amsterdam or Purmerend and change there onto the train to the airport. That works fine during the day, but with cases, children or an early-morning flight a direct ride is a good deal calmer.
How and when do I pay for the ride?+
Payment is made directly online while booking, at least 1 hour before the pick-up time. That fixes the amount and means you don't need to pay by card or cash with the driver; you simply receive a confirmation of the ride.
Can small children travel safely from Volendam?+
Yes, a child seat or booster is available on request. Give your child's age when booking and the driver makes sure the right provision is in the car before pulling up at your address on the Dijk or elsewhere in the village.
How long does the driver wait after landing at Schiphol?+
After landing you have 60 minutes of free waiting time, ample for passport control, the baggage belt and a comfort stop. Because the flight is tracked live, that time only starts when your aircraft is actually on the ground.
Can I bring a wheelchair or walker?+
Yes — your wheelchair or walker travels free of charge. If it's too big for the boot, mention it when booking so a suitable vehicle can be scheduled. On request we can also arrange a wheelchair-accessible taxi.
Do you also drive on public holidays and New Year's Eve?+
Yes — 24/7, all year round, including New Year's Eve, with no surcharge.
What if I miss my flight or my flight gets cancelled?+
Let us know at least 4 hours before your scheduled pickup on 085 060 2543. We then move your ride to a new time free of charge, or you cancel with a 50% refund. If you tell us later than 4 hours ahead, or we can't reach you, the ride counts as a no-show without a refund.
