Price certainty on this route

And no surge pricing like ride-hailing apps: your fare doesn't rise with rain, rush hour or an early-morning flight — and traffic jams or detours don't change it either. The amount you see when booking from Vianen is the amount on your receipt.

  • No night surcharge

Never settle up in the taxi — no cash, no card terminal stress. Business trip? An invoice with VAT is available too.

* Comparison with the Dutch legal maximum taxi tariffs 2026 (passenger car: €4,31 start + €3,17/km + €0,52/min, wetten.overheid.nl), calculated over the usual off-peak travel time. Street taxis may charge less than the maximum; actual savings vary per ride. Full calculation per city.

Your ride from Vianen

Vianen is the fortified town on the north bank of the Lek that has belonged to the Vijfheerenlanden municipality since 2019, with a historic Voorstraat and a sizeable business area along the A2. To the airport a fixed total price applies: €100 in Comfort, €125 in Premium, €130 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €220 in VIP.

The ride is 57 kilometres long and takes about 49 minutes outside the peak hours — one of the fastest connections from this corner of the province of Utrecht. VAT, luggage and the parking charges at Schiphol fall within that amount and there's no night or public-holiday surcharge.

Booking is possible up to one hour before departure, with direct payment online.

The slip road to the A2 lies on the edge of the town, so after a few hundred metres you're already on the motorway. Directly after you cross the Lek over the Jan Blankenbrug, after which the road runs past Nieuwegein and IJsselstein to the Oudenrijn interchange.

There you keep to the A2 past Maarssen, Breukelen and Vinkeveen to the Holendrecht interchange, and then the A9 and the A4 steer you to the terminal. That's 57 kilometres and in quiet hours about 49 minutes. Two spots can spoil it: the Lek bridge itself, where traffic from the Betuwe converges, and the A2 past Utrecht in the morning peak.

Reckon then on 72 minutes. In the event of an accident on the A2 the A27 via Everdingen and Houten is the most used diversion.

Pick-up in Vianen

Pick-up is possible in the Amaliastein, Monnikenhof and Blankenborch quarters, in the new Hoef en Haag towards Hagestein and of course in the old town around the Hofplein and the Voorstraat. Zijderveld and Everdingen and the offices and halls on De Biezen and Gaasperwaard lie within the area too.

There's no NS station of its own; train travellers first take the bus to Utrecht or Culemborg, and precisely that first link is awkward with cases. Hence a car at the door is often the logical choice here. At booking you enter the exact address, even for a business location with several entrances.

Areas served: Amaliastein · Monnikenhof · Blankenborch · Hoef en Haag · Zijderveld · Everdingen

Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Vianen

On the way back you gather at the meeting point in the arrivals hall of Schiphol Plaza. The driver looks at the live landing time, so an early arrival or a delay is automatically processed into the pick-up moment.

From landing an hour of free waiting time counts, and then you drive back via the A9 and the A2 to the Lek in about three quarters of an hour.

Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions

How much do I pay for Vianen to Schiphol?+

The fixed price is €100 for Comfort, €125 for Premium, €130 for the Van with five to eight people and €220 for VIP. VAT, cases and parking at the airport are included in that amount.

Do I need to allow for the peak?+

The driver plans the departure around it himself. Between seven and nine in the morning the traffic past Utrecht jams and the travel time rises to a good hour; outside those windows the route over the A2 runs strikingly smoothly.

Can businesses on De Biezen book on business?+

Yes, rides from the business estates along the A2 are common here. Enter the company details at reservation, and an invoice with a VAT breakdown follows. For colleagues travelling together the Van is often cheaper than separate cars.

Flight cancelled — do I get money back?+

If you report it at least four hours before the agreed pick-up time, the ride can be rebooked free of charge to a new moment or you receive half the amount paid back. After that the driver is already reserved and that option lapses.

Do I pay in the car?+

No, the amount is paid online at the moment of booking. So nothing more needs to happen in the car and there's no meter running up during a jam; the price you were confirmed is the price.

Can I get a child seat for the ride to Schiphol?+

Yes. When booking, mention that you need a child seat or booster and for which age — your driver will have the right seat ready.

Can I pay with iDEAL or credit card?+

Yes, you pay online in advance with iDEAL, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The amount you see at booking is the full amount — there is nothing to pay in the car.

Where does the taxi drop me off at Schiphol?+

Your driver drops you off at the departure hall, as close to your check-in as possible. Schiphol's parking and pick-up fees are already included in your fixed price.
