Your taxi from Vianen to Schiphol Airport
Vianen is the fortified town on the north bank of the Lek that has belonged to the Vijfheerenlanden municipality since 2019, with a historic Voorstraat and a sizeable business area along the A2. To the airport a fixed total price applies: €100 in Comfort, €125 in Premium, €130 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €220 in VIP.
The ride is 57 kilometres long and takes about 49 minutes outside the peak hours, one of the fastest connections from this corner of the province of Utrecht. That amount includes VAT, luggage and the parking charges at Schiphol, and there's no night or public-holiday surcharge.
You can book up to one hour before departure and pay online straight away.
Your route and departure time
The slip road to the A2 lies on the edge of the town, so after a few hundred metres you're already on the motorway. Straight away you cross the Lek over the Jan Blankenbrug, after which the road runs past Nieuwegein and IJsselstein to the Oudenrijn interchange.
There you keep to the A2 past Maarssen, Breukelen and Vinkeveen to the Holendrecht interchange, and then the A9 and the A4 steer you to the terminal. That's 57 kilometres and in quiet hours about 49 minutes. Two spots can spoil it: the Lek bridge itself, where traffic from the Betuwe converges, and the A2 past Utrecht in the morning peak.
Then allow about 72 minutes. In the event of an accident on the A2 the A27 via Everdingen and Houten is the most used diversion.
Pickup in and around Vianen
Pick-up is possible in the Amaliastein, Monnikenhof and Blankenborch quarters, in the new Hoef en Haag towards Hagestein and of course in the old town around the Hofplein and the Voorstraat. Zijderveld and Everdingen and the offices and halls on De Biezen and Gaasperwaard lie within the area too.
There's no NS station of its own; train travellers first take the bus to Utrecht or Culemborg, and that first leg is exactly the awkward part with suitcases. Hence a car at the door is often the logical choice here.

How much do I pay for Vianen to Schiphol?

Flight cancelled: do I get money back?
If you report it at least four hours before the agreed pick-up time, the ride can be rebooked free of charge to a new moment or you receive half the amount paid back. After that the driver is already reserved and that option lapses.

Do I need to allow for the peak?
The driver plans the departure around it himself. Between seven and nine in the morning the traffic past Utrecht jams and the travel time rises to a good hour; outside those windows the route over the A2 runs strikingly smoothly.
Can businesses on De Biezen book business rides?
Yes, rides from the business estates along the A2 are common here. Enter the company details at reservation, and an invoice with a VAT breakdown follows. For colleagues travelling together the Van is often cheaper than separate cars.
Can I get a child seat for the ride to Schiphol?
Yes. At the vehicle step of the booking form, select a Maxi-Cosi (infant seat) or toddler seat: €15 once per booking. Your driver will have the seat ready and installed.
Where does the taxi drop me off at Schiphol?
Your driver drops you off at the departure hall, as close to your check-in as possible. Schiphol's parking and pick-up fees are already included in your fixed price.
