Your ride from Vught

Vught is a leafy, affluent town just south of Den Bosch, and a taxi from here to Schiphol is something you book through Schipholride for a fixed all-in price from €150. Outside the rush hour the 106-kilometre run takes around 90 minutes; with peak traffic on the A2 it climbs to roughly 115 minutes. The price already covers VAT, luggage and the parking costs at Schiphol, and there is no night surcharge. You choose your own segment: Comfort (€150, VW Passat or similar), Premium (€180, Mercedes E-Class or similar), Van for 5-8 people (€195, V-Class or similar) or VIP (€300, S-Class or similar). Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure. If you are being collected at Schiphol, your flight is tracked live and you get 60 minutes of free waiting time after landing — handy after a long flight back to Brabant.

From Vught the driver heads onto the N65 towards the Vught interchange and joins the A2 in the direction of Utrecht. From there it is one long line: past 's-Hertogenbosch and Utrecht to the Holendrecht interchange, where the A9 towards Haarlem feeds the traffic on to the Badhoevedorp interchange. The final stretch runs along the A4 to the Schiphol exit. Outside the rush hour you cover those 106 kilometres in around 90 minutes and pull up at the kiss & ride; between 7:00-9:30 and 16:00-18:30 it can stretch to roughly 115 minutes, above all on the A2 around Den Bosch and Utrecht. There is a local catch worth knowing: the Vught interchange has long-running roadworks on the N65 and the railway, and on some 2026 weekends the A9 between Holendrecht and Badhoevedorp closes entirely. When that happens the driver diverts via the A2/A10, and the timing is planned around it.

Pick-up in Vught

You can be collected anywhere in Vught: from the Centrum and Schoonveld to De Baarzen, De Vughtse Hoeven and Vijverhof in the south of town. The outlying villages of Cromvoirt and Helvoirt fall inside the pick-up area too, and you pay exactly the same fixed price for them. If you live among the narrow streets of the old centre, add a note at booking about where the car can best pull in — beyond that there is nothing to arrange. You are sent your driver's details in advance, so you know who is waiting at the door.

Pick-up from Schiphol

On the way back to Vught your flight is tracked live, so if you land late the pick-up time simply moves with it and you keep 60 minutes of free waiting time after landing. Worth knowing: arrive late in the evening and there is not always a smooth train connection from Schiphol towards Vught, which always involves a change. The taxi then brings you to your own front door without changing trains — whether that is in the centre of Vught or out in Cromvoirt or Helvoirt.

Frequently asked questions

How early am I collected in Vught for a morning flight?+

Count back from your departure time: roughly two hours for check-in and security, plus about 90 minutes of driving, with a little margin. For an 08:00 flight that puts your pick-up in Vught at around 04:00-04:15. Early rides are no problem and cost nothing extra, because there is no night surcharge, so the fixed price stays exactly the same.

Isn't the train from Vught the smarter choice than a taxi?+

Sometimes it is: travelling alone with hand luggage, the train works out cheaper per person. But there is no direct connection, so you change at least once, and because of railway works you currently depart from a temporary replacement station on the Bestevaer business park. With suitcases, children or an early flight, door-to-door transport is often the more practical option.

Are Cromvoirt and Helvoirt collected for the same price?+

Yes. The fixed prices from Vught apply across the whole municipality, so the outlying villages of Cromvoirt and Helvoirt are included as well. You simply enter your own address when booking; the driver is at the door at the agreed time and the fare does not change because of the extra distance to those villages.

How much will the roadworks at the Vught interchange affect my journey?+

Around the Vught interchange there are ongoing works on the N65 and the railway, with occasional closures. The driver knows the local diversions and builds room into the planning for them. Outside the rush hour the run to Schiphol stays around 90 minutes; in the morning or evening peak it can climb to roughly 115 minutes.

Six of us are flying from Vught — what is the sensible option?+

Then book the Van: a Mercedes V-Class or similar for 5 to 8 people, at a fixed total price of €195 including luggage and the parking costs at Schiphol. Per person that is often comparable to six train tickets, but without a single change and with everyone plus their suitcases together in one vehicle for the whole trip.
