* Comparison with the Dutch legal maximum taxi tariffs 2026 (passenger car: €4,31 start + €3,17/km + €0,52/min, wetten.overheid.nl), calculated over the usual off-peak travel time. Street taxis may charge less than the maximum; actual savings vary per ride. Full calculation per city.

Your ride from Delft

A 07:00 flight, and there you are with two suitcases and a buggy in Tanthof or Voorhof — not the moment to gamble on catching the first train. You book a taxi from Delft to Schiphol via Schipholride at a fixed all-in price from €90 (Comfort), and outside peak hours the journey takes around 45 minutes over 50 kilometres.

During the morning rush it can stretch to roughly 65 minutes, so the driver sets off with time to spare. The price includes VAT, luggage and parking at Schiphol; there is no night surcharge, not even for a 04:00 pickup.

Alongside Comfort (a VW Passat or similar), you can choose Premium (€115), a Van for 5–8 people (€120) or VIP (€195). Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure.

From Delft there are two sensible motorway routes to Schiphol. From the east and north side (Vrijenban, Wippolder, the old town) you usually take the A13 towards Den Haag and switch to the A4 towards Amsterdam at the Ypenburg interchange.

From Tanthof, Voorhof and Buitenhof, the Kruithuisweg (N470) to the A4 at Den Hoorn is often shorter; after that it is one straight line north. On the A4 you take exit 4 for the terminal. Outside peak hours the 50 kilometres take about 45 minutes.

In the morning rush (roughly 07:00–09:00) the Ypenburg interchange and the A4 between Den Haag and Leiden are the well-known bottlenecks, and travel time can climb to around 65 minutes. The driver picks whichever of the two options is fastest at the time; if there is a jam on the A13, the N470–A4 variant is the alternative.

Pick-up in Delft

Schipholride arranges pickups across the whole of Delft: from the old town and Hof van Delft to Tanthof, Buitenhof, Voorhof, Voordijkshoorn, Vrijenban and Wippolder. The old town is partly low-traffic with narrow canal-side streets; the driver comes to the nearest accessible point by your door, and you receive contact details in advance so you can coordinate.

Pickups at Delft station or Delft Campus are also possible, as are pickups on the TU Delft Campus — handy for university guests or for businesses at Delftechpark and Schieoevers.

Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Delft

Coming back from Schiphol, you travel south via the A4 to Delft in around 45 minutes; only during the evening rush can that stretch to roughly 65 minutes. Your flight is tracked live, and after landing you have 60 minutes of free waiting time — plenty for baggage and customs.

If you live in the low-traffic old town, the driver drops you at the nearest accessible point.

Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions

What time should I be picked up in Delft for a morning flight?+

Allow around 45 minutes of driving time plus a good 2 hours for check-in and security, so arrange your pickup roughly 3 hours before departure. For a 07:00 flight that means around 04:00 from Delft. There is no night surcharge, so the fixed price stays the same.

Which motorway does the trip from Delft to Schiphol take?+

Usually via the A13 and the Ypenburg interchange onto the A4 towards Amsterdam, with exit 4 for the terminal. From the south and west side of Delft, the Kruithuisweg (N470) to the A4 at Den Hoorn is often quicker. The driver chooses based on the current traffic.

There's a direct train from Delft to Schiphol — so why take a taxi?+

True: the intercity from Delft station runs to Schiphol without a change in about 40 minutes and is cheaper if you're travelling alone with hand luggage. The taxi wins on door-to-door: with lots of suitcases, a flight before the first train, late landings, or with a family or group, you often come out cheaper on balance and certainly more comfortable.

Do you also pick up in Tanthof, Buitenhof or at Delft Campus?+

Yes, every Delft district falls within the pickup area: Tanthof, Buitenhof, Voorhof, Voordijkshoorn, Hof van Delft, Vrijenban, Wippolder and the old town. Delft Campus station and the TU campus are pickup points too. The fixed price from €90 applies to any address in Delft.

What does a minibus for a group of 6 from Delft to Schiphol cost?+

A Van (a Mercedes V-Class or similar) for 5 to 8 people costs €120 total from Delft — not per person. That includes VAT, luggage and parking at Schiphol. With six travellers that works out to a little over €20 per person, often less than six separate train tickets plus the hassle of dragging suitcases around.

Can my dog or pet come along?+

By arrangement — mention it when booking and we'll take it into account.

Can I bring a wheelchair or walker?+

Yes — your wheelchair or walker travels free of charge. If it's too big for the boot, mention it when booking so a suitable vehicle can be scheduled. On request we can also arrange a wheelchair-accessible taxi.

Do you also drive on public holidays and New Year's Eve?+

Yes — 24/7, all year round, including New Year's Eve, with no surcharge.
