Your ride from Delft

A 07:00 flight, and there you are with two suitcases and a buggy in Tanthof or Voorhof — not the moment to gamble on catching the first train. You book a taxi from Delft to Schiphol via Schipholride at a fixed all-in price from €95 (Comfort), and outside peak hours the journey takes around 45 minutes over 50 kilometres. During the morning rush it can stretch to roughly 65 minutes, so the driver sets off with time to spare. The price includes VAT, luggage and parking at Schiphol; there is no night surcharge, not even for a 04:00 pickup. Alongside Comfort (a VW Passat or similar), you can choose Premium (€115), a Van for 5–8 people (€125) or VIP (€185). Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure.

From Delft there are two sensible motorway routes to Schiphol. From the east and north side (Vrijenban, Wippolder, the old town) you usually take the A13 towards Den Haag and switch to the A4 towards Amsterdam at the Ypenburg interchange. From Tanthof, Voorhof and Buitenhof, the Kruithuisweg (N470) to the A4 at Den Hoorn is often shorter; after that it is one straight line north. On the A4 you take exit 4 for the terminal. Outside peak hours the 50 kilometres take about 45 minutes. In the morning rush (roughly 07:00–09:00) the Ypenburg interchange and the A4 between Den Haag and Leiden are the well-known bottlenecks, and travel time can climb to around 65 minutes. The driver picks whichever of the two options is fastest at the time; if there is a jam on the A13, the N470–A4 variant is the alternative.

Pick-up in Delft

Schipholride arranges pickups across the whole of Delft: from the old town and Hof van Delft to Tanthof, Buitenhof, Voorhof, Voordijkshoorn, Vrijenban and Wippolder. The old town is partly low-traffic with narrow canal-side streets; the driver comes to the nearest accessible point by your door, and you receive contact details in advance so you can coordinate. Pickups at Delft station or Delft Campus are also possible, as are pickups on the TU Delft Campus — handy for university guests or for businesses at Delftechpark and Schieoevers.
