Your ride from Pijnacker-Nootdorp
A 07:30 departure from Schiphol with a family and suitcases in Keijzershof? Then you do not want to take the RandstadRail metro into The Hague first and change to a train from there. Schipholride arranges a taxi from your front door in Pijnacker-Nootdorp to Schiphol for a fixed all-in price from €95 (Comfort), with a journey of around 45 minutes outside the rush hour. In the rush hour that can climb to roughly 70 minutes, and the planning allows for it. The price includes VAT, luggage and the parking costs at Schiphol, and there is no night surcharge: a 04:30 ride costs the same as one at 14:00. Alongside Comfort (VW Passat or similar) you can book Premium (Mercedes E-Class or similar, €115), a Van for 5-8 people (V-Class or similar, €125) or VIP (S-Class or similar, €185). Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure.
From Pijnacker-Nootdorp it is 54 kilometres to Schiphol, almost entirely on the motorway. The standard route runs via the N470: heading west towards Delft you join the A13, which you swap for the A4 towards Amsterdam at the Ypenburg interchange, staying on it until the Schiphol exit. An alternative is to follow the N470 as far as the Delft-Zuid junction and join the A4 directly there, handy when the A13 at Delft is gridlocked. From Nootdorp the driver can also reach the A4 via the A12 and the Prins Clausplein interchange. Outside the rush hour you are there in around 45 minutes; in the morning rush (roughly 06:30-09:30) and the evening rush (16:00-19:00) the journey can stretch to around 70 minutes, above all on the A4 between Ypenburg and Leiden. Because the N470 itself sees roadworks from time to time, the driver checks the current situation beforehand and picks the other junction where it helps.
Pick-up in Pijnacker-Nootdorp
A screened driver is ready for you in all three centres: Pijnacker, Nootdorp and Delfgauw, including newer neighbourhoods such as Keijzershof, Ackerswoude and Emerald. Pijnacker-Nootdorp has no NS railway station of its own: the metro stops Pijnacker Centrum, Pijnacker Zuid and Nootdorp sit on RandstadRail line E towards The Hague and Rotterdam, not towards Schiphol. Reaching the airport by public transport therefore means at least one change with all your luggage, and a taxi from the door spares you that hassle, certainly with a family or an early departure. A pick-up at business parks such as Heron or Boezem is just as straightforward.

Pick-up from Schiphol
On the way back from Schiphol your flight is tracked live: if you land later, your pick-up moment shifts with it and you have 60 minutes of free waiting time after landing. If you arrive late in the evening, the driver returns to Pijnacker, Nootdorp or Delfgauw via the A4 in around 45 minutes, and outside the rush hour that stretch is nearly always clear. The same fixed price applies, with no night surcharge.
Frequently asked questions
What time should I be collected in Pijnacker-Nootdorp for a morning flight?+
Reckon on around 45 minutes of driving plus a good two hours for check-in at Schiphol: for an 08:00 flight you plan the pick-up at roughly 05:00-05:15. If your ride falls in the morning rush, Schipholride builds in extra margin because the journey can stretch to around 70 minutes. There is no night surcharge for early departures, so the hour makes no difference to the price.
Can I take a direct train from Pijnacker-Nootdorp to Schiphol?+
No, not directly. Pijnacker-Nootdorp only has metro stops on RandstadRail line E (Pijnacker Centrum, Pijnacker Zuid and Nootdorp), so you have to change in The Hague or Rotterdam onto a train to Schiphol. A taxi is door to door with no change to drag your luggage through, which is well worth considering with an early flight or with children along.
Which motorway does my driver take from Nootdorp or Delfgauw?+
Usually via the N470 to the A13, then onto the A4 at the Ypenburg interchange towards Schiphol. If the A13 at Delft is gridlocked, taking the N470 to Delft-Zuid and joining the A4 directly there is a good alternative; from Nootdorp the A12 via the Prins Clausplein works too. The driver picks the route on the basis of the live traffic on the day.
Do you also collect at business parks such as Heron or Boezem?+
Yes. For business travellers Schipholride arranges a pick-up at any address in the municipality, including Bedrijvenpark Heron along the A12, Boezem West and Oost near Pijnacker, Oostambacht, Ruyven or Delfpark. Premium (Mercedes E-Class or similar, €115 fixed) is a popular choice for these trips, with an invoice afterwards so it fits neatly into your expenses.
Six of us are leaving from Keijzershof — will that fit in one car?+
Yes, for that you book the Van (Mercedes V-Class or similar): room for 5 to 8 people including generous luggage, for a fixed all-in price of €125. Per person that often works out cheaper than two separate cars or train tickets with a change, and everyone travels together from the same address in Keijzershof.
