Certain of your fare

Without a reservation, a street taxi may charge up to about 190 for this ride (±50 km, ±52 min) under the Dutch legal maximum meter rates for 2026. With us the price is fixed at 90 (Comfort) before you book — 52% below that legal maximum.*

And no surge pricing like ride-hailing apps: your fare doesn't rise with rain, rush hour or an early-morning flight — and traffic jams or detours don't change it either. The amount you see when booking from Warder is the amount on your receipt.

  • No night surcharge
  • No weekend or holiday surcharge
  • No rush-hour surcharge
  • No luggage fee
  • No booking or payment fees

Never settle up in the taxi — no cash, no card terminal stress. Business trip? An invoice with VAT is available too.

* Comparison with the Dutch legal maximum taxi tariffs 2026 (passenger car: €4,31 start + €3,17/km + €0,52/min, wetten.overheid.nl), calculated over the usual off-peak travel time. Street taxis may charge less than the maximum; actual savings vary per ride. Full calculation per city.

Your ride from Warder

Warder is a dyke village on the Markermeer: a ribbon of houses along the sea dyke between Edam and Scharwoude, with fewer than a thousand residents and the Edam-Volendam municipality as its administrative home.

From this outermost point of the former Zeevang it's 50 kilometres to the airport and about 52 minutes' drive at a quiet hour. What that costs is in black and white in advance: €90 for Comfort, €115 for Premium, €120 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €200 for VIP.

VAT, luggage and the parking charges at Schiphol are processed in that amount, and surcharges for night-time or festive rides don't exist here. Reservation is possible online up to shortly before the pick-up time, with direct payment.

The ride begins on the dyke: via Middelie or Etersheim your driver drops down to the N247, the through connection from Hoorn to Amsterdam. At Edam and Volendam that road stays busy, after which two ways lie open.

The western loop runs via Purmerend and the N244 to the A7, through the Coentunnel and over the A10-West to the De Nieuwe Meer interchange and then the A4. The direct variant follows the N247 through Katwoude, Monnickendam and Broek in Waterland to Het Schouw, and picks up the ring at Amsterdam-Noord there.

Driving calmly those 50 kilometres take about 52 minutes. In the morning peak the single-lane N247 forms the biggest risk and the journey can rise to some 75 minutes; the pick-up moment is matched to that.

Pick-up in Warder

The pick-up area runs along the whole dyke and the polder behind it: Warder itself, the neighbouring villages of Etersheim, Middelie, Schardam and Beets, and the jetties and bed-and-breakfasts on the Markermeer.

The houses here often stand right on the narrow dyke road, so at booking give a recognisable point besides the house number, then the car is exactly right and there's no need to turn. There's no station nearby; trains run from Hoorn and Purmerend, but then the journey starts with a bus and at least one change.

Looking for a taxi firm in Warder for the ride to Schiphol? Via Schipholride you book an affiliated driver from the Edam-Volendam region — door-to-door transport, without a detour via a station.

Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Warder

On homecoming the meeting spot is the meeting point in the arrivals hall at Schiphol Plaza. The driver looks at the live flight details, so a delayed landing costs you nothing extra, and the first 60 minutes after landing are free anyway.

Once the cases are in the car, it then takes about 52 minutes outside rush hour before you're back on the dyke.

Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions

What do I pay for Warder to Schiphol?+

The amount is fixed in advance at €90 for Comfort, €115 for Premium, €120 for the Van with five to eight seats and €200 for VIP. VAT, cases and the parking charges at the airport all belong to it.

Does the driver drive up the dyke to my front door?+

Yes, pick-up simply happens on the dyke road in front of your house, even if it's narrow. Mention at booking whether there's room to turn or whether an adjacent entrance is handier, so the pull-up is matched to it.

What time to leave for a flight at 07:30?+

Reckon on about 52 minutes' driving plus the two hours the airport advises for check-in and security. That comes down to a pick-up around a quarter past four, an hour when the N247 is still empty and the normal rate applies.

Waiting time after landing — how much is free?+

After landing you have an hour without any cost being added: 60 minutes of free waiting time, counted from the moment the aircraft is at the gate. That's ample for passport control and the wait for your cases.

Can we stop briefly in Edam on the way?+

An intermediate stop is possible but not free; give it at booking, so the detour and the extra minutes are built into the amount straight away. That way you know beforehand where you stand and the flight time stays achievable.

How much do I pay per person?+

Nothing extra: the fixed price is per ride, not per person. Whether you travel alone or with four people in a Comfort, the amount stays the same.

Can I book a return trip in one go?+

Yes, you arrange your outbound and return ride in one booking with the return option in the booking flow. For the return your driver tracks your flight and 60 minutes of free waiting time apply.

Do I get an invoice with VAT for my ride?+

Yes. Book in your company's name and you receive an invoice with a VAT specification — useful for your records or expense claim.
