Luggage free on every ride
Standard: 1 checked + 1 carry-on per person at no extra cost. Oversized items (ski, golf, bicycle) on request — almost everything is free except pets.

Mention at booking. We'll send a minivan (V-Class) even for a solo traveller for the longer gear.

A solo bag usually fits a sedan; otherwise a minivan at no extra cost.
Bicycle (in a bag)

Take-apart bike in a bike bag: fine. Folding bike: fine. Open uncovered bike: not possible.
Pet

Dog or cat in a transport box: €7.50 surcharge. Off-lead dogs: only registered service/assistance dogs (free).
Wheelchair / mobility aid

Folding wheelchair in the trunk: free. Electric wheelchair: V-Class with low entry — mention at booking.
Extra-heavy luggage

Over 23 kg: please flag at booking. No surcharge — we just want to know in advance.
Surfboard / SUP / long items

Up to 2.5 m long: V-Class with seats folded. Above 2.5 m: not possible.

Frequently asked questions
What if I have more luggage than fits in a sedan?+
Book a minivan (V-Class) — it holds 8 pieces. For 1–4 people with lots of luggage that's typically €20 more than a sedan and far cheaper than two sedans.
Can I bring a baby travel cot or stroller?+
Yes, free of charge. Bring it yourself; for the ride itself we provide proper child seats (baby seats for 0–13 months).
Can I bring my bike?+
Take-apart bike in a bag or hard case: yes, free. Folding bike: yes, free. Open uncovered bike: no — risk of damage and dirt.
What if I forget to declare luggage and it doesn't fit?+
Call 085 060 2543 right away — if there's time we'll send a bigger vehicle. Otherwise the driver may help repack on site. As a last resort: a second vehicle (extra fare).
What luggage is not allowed?+
Hazardous goods (flammable, explosive, sharp uncovered). Strong-smelling items (fish, live animals not in a carrier). Open paint cans. When in doubt: info@schipholride.nl.
