Every year Lowlands draws tens of thousands of visitors to the event grounds at Walibi Holland, in the middle of the polder between Biddinghuizen and the Veluwemeer. There is no railway station at the site: by public transport you have to change to a shuttle bus, and it does not run all night. If you are flying in from abroad, or need to get from the last act to an early flight, that is hard to plan around.
A direct taxi takes those connections out of the equation. You get in at Schiphol and reach the festival entrance in about an hour, or travel the other way, from the site to the departures hall. The price is fixed in advance and applies per car: with five to eight people you share one fare, which suits a group of friends travelling there and back together with tents and bags.
One fixed price per ride, the same in both directions: Comfort €140 (1-4 passengers), Premium €175, Van €180 (5-8 passengers) and VIP €300. Including VAT and luggage, with no night surcharge. The price is per car, not per person, so a full Van is a good-value way to travel.
Yes. Lowlands goes on until late and the shuttle buses stop at some point; a taxi runs 24/7. Book your pickup time at the site and allow for the walk from your campsite to the agreed pickup point. There is no night surcharge, so a ride at 03:00 costs the same as one during the day.
When booking, enter "Walibi Holland, Spijkweg 30, Biddinghuizen" and mention in the notes field that it is for Lowlands. Your driver follows the signs to the Lowlands Kiss & Ride and arranges a pickup spot with you there. Temporary traffic measures apply around the site during the festival.
Your flight is tracked live: if it is delayed, your pickup time moves automatically and you have 60 minutes of free waiting time after landing. You receive the pickup point by email in advance. Once you have landed, your driver will contact you and then take you straight to the site at Walibi, with no need to hunt for a shuttle bus.
The Van (Mercedes V-Class or similar) has room for five to eight passengers plus a separate luggage space for tents, cool boxes and bags. If there are two of you with rucksacks, Comfort is enough. Give the number of passengers and the amount of luggage when you book, and the right vehicle will be ready.
